^^^^What he said^^^^

The part about welcome to the chapter. I don't know if I'd call it a madhouse, funny farm is how I spin it. But we're all a little "different" to say the least either way you look at it.

According to the stats he's listed...he's from Midway. Which is midway (pun intended) between Paris & Dardenelle on Hwy 22. I spent the afternoon/evening of my 25th birthday at Midway with two blown & shredded tires on the lowboy I was driving at the time.

Oops, apparently there are two different "Midways" in Arkansas.

I know that exact feeling. I don't like driving the wife's ride...I feel every once of masculinity disappear when I drive her ride. I told her that last weekend, lets just say what she told me after that wasn't exactly supportive.

Great, this thread has turned from a "welcome to the chapter" to geography lesson for a couple of us. I don't think the one on Hwy 22 has a post office (pretty dang sure of that)...so maybe that's how they get away with at least two of the towns with the same name...wonder if the one down by you Jeff has a USPS outpost?

That just proves the one near you, and the one I mentioned must be impostures. The real Midway, AR is in north central Arkansas. Some needs to call Al Gore or Ralph Nater...

Yip, that clears it all up...as clear as mud.

The railroad I work for crosses the White River at Cotter, just below the dam. And from Cotter to Batesville it follows the White. I hear it's a pretty run, but since I'm out of Carthage...Cotter is about far south as I can go and still get back to Carthage in a 12 hour trip.

My Ranchero is that way, you don't get anything better than 12 mpg...unless it's on the trailer behind the Princess. I wonder if FoMoCo is going to offer that new "super wonderful" 3.5L EcoBoost V6 in the vans anytime soon? If it's half as good as they're crowing about... they may have a winner on their hands. It will be interesting to see it 10 years down the road.
