Nice looking crew!

I noticed you had it for sale a few months ago, but i guess you decided against it because your ad disappeared pretty quickly.

How do you like the Mastercraft Courser MXT tires?

I'm in the market for some tires and thought I'd see what you think of them in terms of road noise, how they wear & traction in various scenarios. With all the rain we got earlier this year I imagine you've got an opinion on how they do when it's wet.

Sorry for the delay Maddog I don't check the forums as much as I use too. Small world I see your in Santa Clarita as well. Good eye I did have the truck up for sale for I was considering buying a new diesel I had a lot more interest in the truck than expected and couldn't bring myself to sell it. As far as the tires I love them i think they have no road noise but then again my truck is incredibly loud. But they ride nice I've had no issues with them in the rain and they hook up much better than my old military take offs. If you do get some new tires seeing as your in Santa Clarita I would highly suggest talking to Andy at my tire store on newhall ave. I've bought dozens of tires off him over the years and he always has the best prices even cheaper that I can find online I don't know how he does it.

I shopped around a lot and initially ordered some Maxxis Bighorn's but decided against them after they arrived.

I ended up buying Mastercraft Courser MXT's from my tire store. No one else could come close to the pricing I got at my tire store. I tried to get a newer tire shop in town that had a low price guarantee to match or go lower but they wouldn't. So much for the "we won't be beat on price" banner.

I'm really happy with the performance of the tires and do think that they are pretty quiet. They're currently on my 73 regular cab and will soon go on my 75 crew cab once it's road worthy.

Glad you got a good deal on the tires. I was just there two weeks ago getting a new set of tires for my new project my 1970 bronco. The truck is finally almost done.
