Might be best to get some Lighting or Harley f150 headlight from a salvage yard, tough find I realize...but on a national search do able...plus the weight isn't that much so shipping wouldn't be super terrible. That seems to be a very popular swap.

As far as a lot of these after market headlights...the cheep ones are just that, cheep, poor reflector & fitment quality and consistency. If that is route they're going , then stick to aftermarket stores that are more recognized and care about customer service, chat with a few before you buy, find out whats is being returned for quality reasons. But the price is going to be higher.

As far as bulbs , just replacing them, prolly sylvanias silverstar or luminics. Probably wouldn't go to either brands most intense bulb, they'll most likely get a lot of bright flashes back, from others thinking that you/they are on bright, when they are not, but a good headlight aiming may limit that.

I just replaced my bulbs with Phillips extreme power and they are worth the $35 on Amazon good beam and brightness while still being road legal and within wattage specs.

Also a lot cheaper than what Sylvania was asking for their "top grade" bulb even after shipping.
