dummy plugs and stand pipes new and has the hard thread pipe fitting on the oil pump.no hp leak found.just getting air back threw the oil cooler.if you got ipr closed i didnt think that you would have air coming out of any base oil pressure ports.thinking that the pump is worn internally. ive got this yruck cause its been at 3 other shops with parts thrown at it.no start hot.so im the lucky person to get the job . not complaining.i like jobs that make you go"i aint seen this before"

Any time you get air back-feeding through the oil supply side while air-testing the high pressure oil system for leaks, that's always been one sure fire way to condemn the HPOP itself. You may want to verify by using the block-off tools to dead-head the pump to check its output. But to be honest, the '05 to '07 style pumps very rarely fail, compared to the '03/'04 style pumps. Now, that's not to say it's not possible either. Hope this helps.
