ID number: C8AE-9430-A / Ford part number: C8AZ-9430-A .. Right Exhaust Manifold / Obsolete

Fits: 1968 Galaxie/LTD/Thunderbird 390 / 1968 Galaxie/LTD 428 (except Police Cruiser).

7L18 = Cast November 18, 1967.

The flange where the inlet pipe bolts on is in a different location for a passenger car than it is for a truck.

C6ME-AA = Engine block casting number, worthless for ID'ing what size the FE engine is. It could be a 352, 360, 390, 410 or 428. Casting numbers cannot be cross referenced to Ford part numbers

And, all FE engine blocks were originally cast as 352's, only when the blocks were finished, could they be another size.

7E27 = Bare block cast May 27, 1967.

7E26 = Head cast May 26, 1967.

I dont know size the FE engine is? I was told 390. So the manifold wont fit on this block for using it in a truck?

If you have a F100/350, the manifold will bolt on, but...the exhaust's inlet pipe will be in a different location.

F100/350 FE's used different right/left exhaiust manifolds than passenger car FE's.

This is the passenger side F100/350 manifold: DOTZ9430A (replaced C5TZ9430A) .. Right Exhaust Manifold / Obsolete

Fits: 1965/67 F100/350 352 & 1968/76 F100/350 360/390.

1965/67 352's use a different left exhaust manifold than 1968/72 360/390's, because '65/67's have a heat riser valve.

Either manifold will bolt on, but if you have a 1965/67, you won't be able to use the valve if using a 1968/76 manifold.

You're speaking of this: B8AZ6359A .. Crankshaft Damper Spacer.

Fits all: 1958/76 332/352/360/361 (1958 Edsel only) /390/406/410/427/428 FE engines!

You cannot tell one size FE engine from another by lookin' at it.

Look on the #3 crank journal for a stamped ID number, post what it is.

You can measure the stroke, that'll pin it down somewhat / 352/360: 3.50" / 390: 3.78" / 410/428: 3.98"

Bore: 352: 4.00" / 360/390/410: 4.05" / 428: 4.13"

Get a piston to the bottom of the stroke and measure the distance from the top of the piston to the block deck.

The stamped ID number is 2U on the 3rd journal and first journal has #3 stamped on it.
