Now that we have decided on the tire size........ now on to which one. I found these
Town Fair Tire - Experience The Town Fair Difference with a quick search. I dont know if I really need E's I do not tow heavy at all. I might go with them for the stability though. Thoughts and or recommendations?

Oh Jim, I thought you knew better! that truck is heavy enough for E rated tires by itself. D's are for passenger cars and 1/2 tons. not even sure I'd run em on a 1/2 ton. its a truck, put some truck tires on it. JL will thank you for thinking about her safety and yours!

I think you would have more sidewall stress running a E rated tire
When running a fat tire on a skinny wheel you would need to run less pressure with E tires making for more stress at the bead wrapper

Assuming he's still gonna run stock wheels

Barney
You are correct Barney I was beat tired from work. We had issues in the blast room and I didnt get in until 8 ish.

I am going with E 's going with D's will be too soft in the side wall.

I am going with a 6" lift with 315 75r 16 tires. I will be using the stock rims unless I find a killer deal on something else. In time I might change over to rickson wheels like Barney had suggested. Just not in the funds right now.

I really like the looks of them alot. If you don't mind could you take a picture of the tires and the fender wheel well area? I am trying to get an idea of how much space is in there with that size tire and lift. Thanks
