We had 100 sheets of plywood in the back of his pickup and didn't drive over 45 mph all the way from Portland to home, but we made it!

1/2"................................I wish I'd taken my flatbed trailer, I'd have taken all they had! Not a bad deal for 4 bucks a sheet!

I have had 3/4 of a yard of sand in the back of the Ranger............Surprisingly, the suspension handled it quite well..........the brakes on the other hand, not so much.......DO NOT PULL OUT IN FRONT OF ME!!

i had a similar problem in my 79 f150 i had around 45 80lbs step blocks in it and it held the weight well but i needed a mile to stop lol

i just used the transmision as brakes lol...got to love a manual for those reasons..

You got that right!........Love it when you have such a load, you are going slower than usual, so some soccer mom in a mini-van whips out in front of you because, she thinks "hes just going too slow!, I will whip out in front of him!".

got to love those old work horse trucks i keep saying i am going to retire my old ford but i still find myself useing it as a work horse from time to time

Harley bought that old chebby for 500 bucks 6 years ago just to have something to abuse and the damn thing just won't die....................

Wet and gloomy over here in the valley today. At least I was stuck in class all day and not wishing I was outside like I would if the weather was better...

preparing for monday/tuesday when all my remaining parts come!

Water seperator mounted and ready for barbs & hose,

New elec. pump and coolant filter are ready to be mounted too basically .

Then to rebuild the front end. Anyone got a tie rod, spindle, or ball joint press i can borrow near Salem? Could always use an experienced hand too
