I need a little help guys..

I recently upgraded my head unit in my 2001 expedition (its an eb if that matters) which has the mach sound system with factory sub in the rear.

Well, now I'm ready to upgrade the door speakers. I already changed out my factory sub with a better aftermarket sub using the factory box (which turned out very good btw).

SO: I've seen some decent deals on 6x8 replacement speakers for all 4 doors, the issue I have, or concern rather - is I'm under the impression there is a factory installed amp for the door speakers somewhere.... And if this is the case, I won't be able to install a door speaker amp like I had originally planned.

CAN ANYONE VERIFY IS THERE A DOOR SPEAKERS AMP IN THE MACH SOUND SYSTEM FOR A 2001 EXPEDITION?

and if YES: Where would it be located exactly? Has anyone else here replaced factory factory sound with aftermarket sound and used the existing factory door speaker wiring? I have a nice head unit - I want to add a door speakers amp, replace the door speakers themselves, and change the sub amp too

ANY HELP - ADVICE - PICTURES or even LINKS would be most appreciated.

 

Where are you getting this impression that there is a second amp?

I don't know the answer to the question but I'd be surprised if there was one.
