loking for new tires for 2011 f250

To get a 35 inch tire in metric size, on your 17 in rim you have to go to a 305/75*17 tire. I dont think your stock rim is going to support that width of a tire well and you are going to get cupping and uneven tread wear. You might need to upgrade to a wider rim, say a 9.5 or 10 inch wide rim. If you go to 4lo.com and check out their calculator for metric sizes that will give you a better idea. I do like the look of those 35 inch Toyo on the stock rim and they seem to fill out well and articulate well with no clearance issues. I would be careful with front mudflaps ect, might get some rubbing but those with a 2011 will better be able to confirm this. Maybe your stock rim is wide enough?

As long as you dont have cupping on the front tires or uneven wear problems it might not be an issue. I know with my 285 BFGs I noticed a distinct tendency to wear out the middle and cup the outside without carefully adjusting psi to load and rotating often. As it was only got 40,000 Km out of them and have switched to a different tire with a 80,000 km wear warranty (yokohama geolander AT/S) So far just as good in winter conditions, cold or warmer, snow and ice. We will see how they do next winter with more wear on them. I have been running 60 psi running empty and traction is good. Will obviously have to air up for towing and when loaded heavier in summer. This way I am getting the whole tire on the ground flat. Watching wear closely.

I ordered tires online yesterday, local dealers could not find the 285/75-17. NItto terra grapplers in 285/75-17 should be delivered late next week.
I got the B&W hitch and wiring in the bed, Huskymud flaps on, windows get tinted on Monday, Banks exhaust should be delivered Wednesday.
I did some measuring today and with the upgraded springs from the camper package my truck sits one inch lower than the back.

I just bought a set of those exact wheels with the continental tires brand new from a 2011 truck on ebay for $1150.00. The wheels and tires had 32 miles on them, someone bought a new truck and swapped them out and I got them from the wheel dealer who sold him the new wheels and tires. Just look around and sometimes you can find a great deal like that. The only thing is that there is not a wide selection of 18" 10 ply tires out there and they are expensive, like $300.00 apiece. Maybe the price will come down some by the time my new tires wear out.
