Where to get a door chime box?

I know its funny most people toss these things and I'm trying to replace the one someone tossed out of my truck. I have a 91 and a 94.5 and both are missing the chime box, does ford still possibly carry that part for these trucks? If not where can I find them?

They get tossed because they don't make pretty "chime" noises they make an ugly oscillating buzzing racket. If you still want one you should have no problem finding low milage versions in a scrapyard, low milage because they're usually the first thing everybody disconnects.

Are there any plug and play replacements from say a Lincoln that sound better? If so, what chime would be plug and play with a 95 F150?

Seriously, why do you want it? It's the most irritating thing on the planet. I've only seen one truck where it still worked and its ignition cylinder was screwed up and the buzzer went off every time you opened the door (without the key in it). If I knew where mine was, I'd offer like the other guys.

I'm really curious though, if you don't mind, why the do you want that sound?

I think one from a Lincoln Town Car will work. I know the one out of the MK VII works, as I've already made that change.

Probably no other reason than it's what it came with from the factory. I fixed mine because it's what my wife wanted...and since my life is much better when she's happy, I fixed it!

That's probably the best reason to do anything so irritating.

Better yet, get one that talks to you.

"A door is ajar."
No it's not! A door is a door!

"Please fasten your seatbelt."
Please shut your face!

"Alert, your fuel level is low."
Ah, good- I was worried the gauge wasn't reading right.

"I cannot allow you to endanger your life."
KITT?????
