I have a chance to get a 95 i6 efi motor for $75. Could it be converted to carbed duraspark II ?. I was thinking of getting it for a spare motor and rebuilding it if needed . It is out of the truck so i can't hear it run it came from a guy that works at a jy and said it was a good runing motor when he pulled it.
Any one think its worth $75

If it is a good running motor and you can get the computer with it, I would buy it for sure, especially if you trust your source. Can you find out what the mileage is on the truck before you buy? The head alone is worth $75 bucks!

 

the motor is laying in his back yard don't know millage it has the manifolds on it
going to look at later and make sure it turns over. will my carbed intake work on it ? don't want no computer on it. Gona use it for a spare and maybe rebuild as my motor is kinda old and getting week. Can ya duraspark II a 95 300 by using a carbed intake and a 82 dizzy and module ?.
