Trans issues 1/3 throttle 2-3rd by way of 1st
I started a new thread to this problem to ask advice...
Running stock - got the "fix" last week (Flash as per the TSB). Me & Rebel (My co-pilot - Black Lab) go to the same bar every couple of nights... I back into a parking spot... Hang for a little while - 1-2 hrs.
Leaving - 3 times since the "Flash" - I start the truck, put in gear - wiggle about 100 feet out of the parking lot. I hit a main road- go into 2nd fairly quickly (gear indicators on) wind up to about 35mph - truck should shift to 3rd... BUT, it the indicator shows that it tries to go into 1st - although it feels like it is in neutral..
Hunts for 2-3 seconds - then it goes into third -
I am gonna try to catch it on the video (iPhone) then post here - & maybe send to Ford. This specific start is the only place I can make it happen. Dealer is OK - but if I took it to them I am not sure that they could isolate the issue - does anyone have a direct person at FORD besides the customer service Number if I can catch it on video?
Not mad - it is a small issue - but I would think that it is something that needs to be addressed in their programming - MAybe they should hire 5StarTuning to assist with their programming...

5 star tunes haven't been on truck since 1st Dec - way before the "update".
I know that this particular circumstance happened previous to "update"..

Thanks for clarifying that the issues are with STOCK tune and not ours. I like your idea of capturing it on video. I have a hunch i know what is maybe causing the issue though. Its the dang Computer Nanny!

Watch at @ 3K the tach increases 500rpm - the gear goes back from 2nd to first.. then it jump back into 2nd - then 3rd..
Steady pressure on accelerator maybe 1/3- 1/2 throttle - I am not goosing it when the rpms increase - it's like it is shifting into neutral - although the dash says it's going into 1st..

I picked mine up mid-dec, so not sure if it has the most recent flash. I would assume it would but you never know. However, I have never noticed the gear selector dropping to first like yours.
All that said, are there any improvements with this reflash? I plan on tuning using the SCT next week, but now am considering waiting to get the reflash before doing so if there are at least some improvements with the update.
