That's it! Now you've gone and done it! Posted a picture of a truck that looks so good, even tho it's not my color or trim level, I'm STILL jealous! Mainly it told me that my feelings about wanting a Reg. Cab Short Bed 2WD are right on target. That truck w/ the 5.0 has GOT to be one quick runner, and just plain a hoot to drive. Absolutely... i am thinking those factory mustang headers that the mustang guys are taking off Good cheap header... and a free flowing muffler..I like the Gibson stuff good mellow sound ...

Mike is that stock or does it have one of your tunes? That is a animal and I'm liking the gear indicator! WOW what a truck!!!

Also- Anyone notice the avg. fuel mileage dropped .2 mpg between videos? Fun has its price....

 

hell if flogging the **** out of it before its even really good and broke in only drops ya .2 mpgs..... well i want a new 5.0!!!! i can barely get 21 mpg Hwy. with my Exploder.... my Flareside i was lucky to get 15 out of it on the highway when it was all stock, now... chit... im gonna hate seeing what i get..

 

Great truck! I can't wait to get my 5.0L this summer. Does the 5.0 in your truck have the 5-star tune or is factory stock? If its factory stock 0-100mph in less than 20 seconds is impressive!

Heck, I was tickled that he was getting 21+mpg before the "flog"; I SERIOUSLY doubt he's been egg-footing it before this, even if it was all highway miles. For it to do that AND have all that power, I AM impressed... Plus I'm impressed with the info available on the dash, and this being an XL model to boot!

Its all stock right now. That was the first WOT i have done in truck. Wife took it on a 100 mile round trip Sat.. and avg read out was 22.5... of course when i drive truck it drops for some reason.
