I changed my dipstick flange oring before Bob had the kit.I bought a new nut and oring from Ford.Used a 50 cal bore brush to hold the inner.Removed the old hard oring and installed the new.Installed the new nut.
That sounds really easy.It is not bad if you have everything you need laid out.I chose to change the oring and not have that glob on the outside.
That is a great kit Bob has because it has everything you need.Make sure you get the new nut in case the old one is warped or bad from taking it off.
