I noticed a new phrase under my user name..."no cars in the garage"? What does this mean? I have pics in my gallery...

I think the garage thing refers to albums or it's just another place you can park your pictures. My garage is too cluttered to park anything,lol

 

Why would we have cars in the garage anyway? Shouldn't we all have our trucks there?

 

I think it's a cool link. When you click it you can list your truck and a lot of the setup. It also give's other members a quick look to see what you have if you don't have it listed in your signature.

 

i checked that out awhile ago and it wouldn't accept any year prior to 1950. if that is still the case the 48's and 49's would have to lie or be out of business. maybe that's been fixed? i'll take a look later.

 

Yeah, I ran into that too so I gave up on it.

 

I'll find out if anything can be done about that. I actually thought it was resolved earlier this year but I just tried to put a pict of our 41 in my garage and its still only 1950 & newer.

I'll let ya all know if that can be changed.

 

I am crew chief for the car in my garage. I Never wanted to imply that I owned it I just spend many hours a year on the car and am proud of our accomplishments. I feel an invested owner ship for the car and wanted to share. How can I fix this?

 

I contacted the administrator about the year not being older than a 50 and received no response. I put my 46 Ford in may garage and the AD said "No problem putting cars in your garage" I think the "Garage" is for those non-Ford or cars that can not be placed in you Gallery.

I'm with Partsguyed on this. No one asked me if I wanted that hung up there under my name tag. This site is already so top heavy with crap it has become a pain in the a$$ to negotiate and the powers that be add another worthless program to the mess without asking the membership if they wanted OR needed it. I didnt mean to "stir the pot" on this one...but if anyone wants to look at a users pics they could just put instructions next the round symble where the galleries hide...?
p.s. I'm glad to see they are still tagging my posts with SPAM ADDS...maybe I should put some spam advertisments in "My Garage"!
