Add-a-leaf, airbags or what?

Who wants to chime in on leveling and lifts for a '72 F250? Have a Meyers plow on the front and want to get it back to level. Who has a good thought on how to do it? Should I get an add-a-leaf (and if so what's the best one to get a couple inches of height back) or use airbags or both? Anyone who has done this (especially with a plow setup) please let me know. Truck has a Dana 44 spicer front axle with 3 inch leaf springs (6 leaf). Also, would finding a set of F350 springs be an option? These are probably getting weak so may just get new arched springs from somewhere. Thanks

I have used air-bags and feel they ride the best, and offer the least amout of comprmise.

The only problem is you need an air tank or on board compressor.

The rear of my 2wd was low when I changed slide-in campers so I went to the wrecking yard and found a couple of springs the same size and took a couple of leafs. I had to get longer u bolts to fit the added springs.

Thanks guys. Found a pair of 3" wide springs on craig's list from a late 90's diesel that are right length. Only 2 leafs each (must be thick springs ?) but from an F250 so should help by adding at least 1 on each side (may cut the loops off main spring and use them too). But will also probably put in an air bag system. Have to find one that works with my truck. Maybe Air Lift modified 80 Ford or Firestone (haven't checked them yet). Probably go cheap and just carry an air pig with me and do the manual inflation bit. Just need it for when the plow is on (I just leave it on all winter...pain not to). Already have adjustable on the back of my dually for various loads and I use it for all the heavy work. Appreciate the advice and experience. Cheers
