New 6.7 Brush Truck

Thought y'all might enjoy these pictures of my local volunteer fire departments new brush truck! Glad to see these 2011's start to become more popular. Only the best.

Wow, looks like it's made to drive right into the flames. Not something I'd do with my truck. Is the pump PTO driven?

This is Madison County.....better change that to 30-40 years. LOL. These guys drop everything to help someone in need so I am glad they got a new tool to help them off.

kjf, does that truck have the "operator regen" command where they can make it regen anytime they need to?

There have been several folks asking about "How do I outfit this truck for EMS or Fire/Rescue" and I usually try to encourage them to look into the special duty options like ambulance service.

The idea is, if the DPF is not allowed to run it's regen cycles it will eventually shut down the truck from damaging itself, and this possibility can't or should not even be remotely possible when it is being used for saving lives. Just curious. The way these trucks are put into service could be a mix of conditions that are not healthy for the "consumer grade" emissions systems that most of us have.

A Brush Fire Truck with tires like that??? Maybe if the Road or a Parking lot,,was Burning,,,,LOL

The front sprayers and are kinda Cool,,,But me thinks that winch will get worn out with Rubber like that on the Ground !
