Thank you I would like to see more pics of yours.
They are fun to drive also but not one of them gets over 11mpg
Thats a good thought i always just went for my blue 78 but i drive the red 79 once and a while. My dads green 78 is pretty much his baby and is all setup for pulling a camper during the summer.

Thats very very true I Like hearing those flowmaster mufflers.
I might get 9mpg highway with my blue 78 thats good for having a built 460 and a 750cfm holly hp series double pumper.

Great looking trucks gus. Wish mine are in that condition.
As for paint, I personally like the blue that my '78 is, not sure what the paint color code is. Its all oxidized and doesn't shine anymore, but still looks good. Its a baby blue
If you are going to be doing a 2 tone, then I would suggest if follows the trim. So if you have a truck with trim (i.e a ranger lariat), then the 2 tone should be a main color, then a insert color, like this.
I am a big fan of the 50's style cream color, so when I paint my 79 (The one pictured), I will most likely be using a cream w/red inserts. Other combos that I think would look good is black w/cream, cream w/blue, cherry red w/blue, white w/sliver, or just solid white
Thats just my 2 cents
