I Hate Snow

About two feet of snow.

A few months ago I cleaned out the carb and got my 2-stroke snow blower going and ran it dry just so it was ready, and sure enough, no starty-starty.

I guess I have to shovel

Was fun to drive in last night too... slippin' and slidin' !

2wd crewcabs with highway "E" tires do not do so good in the snow lol.

I know the whole drill sir, every detail. Two seasons of intermittent sb operation, thank heavens it ran today, yikes. And, really miss the old green monster, that pig went through anything, can't say that for the 2x4 xl lol.

lol Dave. I have a 2wd F350 Crewcab SRW and moving 25 feet across my level driveway was a chore. It kept sliding sideways into the snow bank along the edge of my driveway.

What can you do though. I spent about six hours shoveling, pacing it out as not to crook my back or initiate a heart attack.

Just as I was about done, a neighbor came by with his murray snowblower which was appreciated though a bit late. At least I got to sculpt the edges of the driveway to a more wall-like edge and get rid of the huge pile the road plow left behind.

I have decided the next time I have to have my driveway paved, assuming I'm still here, it will be a heated driveway. It's worth the 50A circuit.

One of my neighbors down the road has it and as soon as the snow starts he turns it on, and very little snow collects - it melts as it lands.

FWIW, my son's 2x4 with the posi rear and mid box does really well in the snow with about 100lbs (ie. 2spare tires and wheels) added weight in the back and one snow tire LOL (we never got to mounting the other hahaha). Mine with the open rear is for s!@#, and the best recipe for the big Snapper so far has been to leave the gas in, use Marine formula Stabil as in my fishing boat and start it at least once a month year round. BTW, regular Stabil is good, but to my experience Marine costs a little more but is stronger and works better even for stuff like the lawn mowers etc. 8-))

Same here Dave, Marine Stabil in all the power equipment, plus before storing I fog the motors with Seafoam Deep Creep until they stall out.

i have a divorced transfer case if you want to put it in frankentruck. then all you would need to find is a coil sprung front rear, and you would have 4 wheel drive.
