Back after a long absence. Had a 2005 Expy EB and switched to BMW X5's in 06. Trading in my 08 X5 to go back to Expy. Need the extra room and X5's dont work well for hunting/backroad trips!!

I'm going with a 4x4 but we couldn't find any on the lots with skid plates. The dealer is going to order from the factory and install them. He said that he hasn't had any Expy's come thru with skid plates. Am I the only one that takes an Expy off road?? Aren't they built on the same frame as the F-150?

 

The Expedition skid plates appear to be sheet metal. I have them because I wanted the tubular steps and they come with the "off road" package.

A couple of Ohio winters do wonders for things under the truck...
