its weird it doesnt do it all the time i put heat shrink and tape on it so hopefully that was it

 

taped up wire thought it fixed the issue then while driving today it happened like 6 times its getting worse

 

the wire damage you are looking for should be on the main engine sensor harness. suspect spots are near the gpcm, near the ficm and near the crank case breather.

 

Follow Cheezit's advice- and if you do a search, you'll find photos of Ford's many wiring issues. The photos will be a big help in finding the locations cheezit mentions because they wear locations are not obvious unless you know what you are looking for.

the whole engine wiring harmess is so cramed i there in so many locations its kinda nuts where are all those items located at i now where the main harness is thas it it lookes like the only way to see if the haress is chaffed in several locations is to remove it since its so tight is it ok to disconect the harness es to flip wire up and check it
