Does anyone know where I can find production numbers and possible uses for the 1954 F-500 Series Trucks. I Have a 54 F-500 Tow Truck and would like to know how many there were and how many may still be around.

 

I just wanted to welcome you to FTE. With these old trucks scattered all over the world I doubt there is any documentation as to how many are left. And as i have been told back in the day Ford didn't keep all the records of how many was built. The last digits of your vin # will tell you what number your truck was in the run. Some of the more Knowledgable guys and gals will be along shortly that will have better info if its out there.

 

Thanks for the warm welcome,I just found this site yesterday and hopefully I'll have an answer for someone else someday. I figured record keeping might be an issue. Hopefully someone may have some info.
