One small question and my new project "the ultimate sin" :D

the only real engine swap I can think of that I condone would be a Cummings swap in pretty much any make or something like a 302 or 350 swap into an MG Midget or Mini Cooper. I guess a 350 in a Toyota truck is ok too.
My point is Ford Chebby and Dodge have good motors that are all pretty much readily available and reasonably priced to build. The cost of putting a 460 you already have in a Chebby would probably be more expensive and headache than buying a running, junk yard, 454.
To each their own I guess.

i feel putting a cummings engine in anything with wheels and claiming you have tha best gold plated whatever is on the same lines as putting a chebby engien in anything with wheels.
there are way better engines than a cummings 6BT
the international DT360 being one of them

i just don't see the hype behind the cummins.
the DT360 is a much better engine.
makes the same power, weighs about the came, and costs way less to buy.
they are a little harder to find, but they are still out there.
i had the misfortune to have 4 ford F650's with the 6BT engine in them at the last job. 3 with automatics, and one with a 6 speed and 2 speed rear.
the only one worth driving was the stick truck, and you needed all 12 gears to keep up with traffic with 1200 gallons of tack oil in the tank.
the same size internationals with the DT360 engines would walk all over the cummins powered fords. none of the fords had over 25k miles on them, and all of the internationals had over 100k miles on them.
