The dealer is trying to find a leak in my tranny and put some dye in it . They told me to drive it a while and come in to have it rechecked . My question is the dye turns the tranny fluid a different color on the dipstick , will that hurt the tranny fluid or do they need to change it if no leak is found later on?

 

It won't hurt anything.
