MII front sway bar
#31
TCI Stuff...
the above photo it "almost" looks to me like the upper bag bracket is
too short...OR...
...the lower a-arm to too long horizontally......
I dunno but the TCI bar that just hit my front porch a few days ago is completely
FLAT end to end...
Overall length is 43.25"... just don't seem right......
AND...bar stock only measures 0.750" O.D. whereas yours looks to be
somewhat larger diameter......
Looks like the same bar as in Sam's pic's...
This is a TCI IFS correct? '56 Effie...???......
...OK...NO jokes about size...please......
MAN...I just do not remember reading anything "nice" or encouraging about Mr. Rob McGregor
ANYWHERE on the internet...except maybe in a magazine...
...but hey...I guess thats what ya get when ya spend all your BIG coporate $$$ on advertising...
...instead of customer service or PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS professionally!

No, not yet. I have to do some of my own 'engineering'. When he sold me the kit he gave me explicit directions on how to install it, which is the way you see it in the photo. I fabbed a better bracket to install on the A-arm, but then decided to see how it would work when 'dropped' as I said earlier. So I went back to No Limit and he insulted me on my 'not being a real hot rodder' because 'I' needed to work it out. That's where it stands right now.

Helix...WOW...big $$$ ads...
I feel your pain brother......
Helix?!...man can you even imagine what those 2-4 page
magazine ads cost each month in full color PER magazine?
Those dudes are runnin' ads in everybodys rag...just like TCI...SOB"s...
Makes me sick.....
ANYWAY....I feel better now...sorry...but I DO know what
ya mean...there is NO reason to treat customers like this!......
SO I SPENT SOME time on TCI's website trying to find a part
number or something or maybe installation instructions...
...for a TCI front anti-sway bar to fit a TCI air bagged IFS, with
TCI tubular a-arms for an 1956 F100...
...and after looking at ALL the sheets they have available this
is this ONLY thing I could find that was even CLOSE;
http://www.totalcostinvolved.com/assets/pdf/35-48_IFS_Anti-Sway.pdf
I think that "now"... since most all the IFS MFG's are "now" including
anti-sway bars as part of the kits...that might just be why I'm having a
difficult time locating the bar Individually on the TCI site...
So..who knows...?...........I'll call tomorrow & yell......
...gotta No Limit Engineering FATBAR rear suspension on Firestone
bags WITH a panhard bar waining for the FRANKEN-NINE to be completed...ha-ha...
....will I need a anti-sway bar for the FRANKEN-NINE also?......
