Do I hear fraud?
Unused Bed. I was the first to do so for the photos with the Merlin Engine in the Crate but I had a big blanket under it.
Corvette Grand Sport
On his 63 Corvette Grand Sport page there is a picture of the engine and skid in the truck.
Where is that big blanket? He sounds like the salesman I got a 1991 Jeep Wrangler from. The spare tire was missing and ask him where it was, he said under the Jeep and this was a Jeep dealership.

Heres another bit from the ad:
" It was titled to Ford until 2005 when it was auctioned from Ford and the guy behind building and promoting the truck was the buyer. He sold it to me later that year"
Soooo... that would mean that he has owned the truck since sometime in 2005, right? And, he is obviously in Texas from the tag...

And here it is with a Iowa tag

But, if he is from Texas, and according to his LinkedIn account, he has owned the telemarketing thing in Texas since 1986, then why, if he supposedly bought the truck in 2005, does the Auto Check show this?
<table id="full-history-list" class="report listing"><tbody><tr><td>11/22/1983 </td> <td>

IF it had been owned by Ford it would most likely be titled and tagged with a Michigan plate, even if it wasn't, an in house auction by Ford would not be reported as an Auto Auction. That reporting happens when it rolls across the auction lane with a dealer title, and speaking of dealer titles, if it had been licensed to Ford, it would have been flagged as a fleet vehicle on the check since it was owned by the manufacturer, yet the Auto Check shows
No fleet, rental and/or lease use record
Now back to the fun of the pictures
Now the ad states "Again, it has only been a show truck, never even wet in a puddle, much less off road or abused in any way ",

but I have been through enough mudholes to recognize mud and dirt staining on a tire when I see it!

Oh, and don't you love the "custom" brake line bracket on the rear end??

The more you read the ad and information on the truck and then look at the pictures, the more you smell

Although, I did find a picture of the guy at least!!

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
And ... if this truck was built as a show truck, special order, it would have a 6 digit DSO.
This is such a scam that I think I might save his eGay auction as a web page somewhere to immortalize the SOB.
"Hey! Look at me! I sell crap that annoys you at dinner time with unwanted calls AND I'm trying to pass this truck off as something it's not!"
Quack ... quack ... quack.
