Turn the key to on and push the pedal to the floor and release it quickly. I've heard that resets the travel on the gas pedal. Also, don't hold the pedal down while starting, it doesn't need it.

I did that also, i have no idea, i have power at the throttle body, it is suppose to pull back voltage when you depress the pedal but it does nothing.

Isn't there something like a throttle position sensor on these now? I don't have one, just throwing the idea out there.

Since you've changed the throttle body and the gas pedal the next logical step would be to look for broken wires between the gas pedal and the computer and the computer and the throttle body. Do you have voltage at the gas pedal connector? You'll have to find a schematic or troubleshooting guide to figure out where and what the voltage should be.

I had a similar issue recently; loaded the tuner but pulled the plug before turning the key off. Gravity, cheap and dependable, got me to the bottom of the hill but pressing the accelerator had no effect. Put the tuner back to check for codes, reloaded the tune, and followed the instructions . . . turn key off . . . disconnect tuner.

This may not help the OP but may help someone out there if it ever happens.

Curt
