hi everyone great site. all of the body parts are getting sand blasted and primered and the frame is next. the question i have is ,I purchased a double port- boosted master cylinder for my 51 f1, and putting a 4 barrel holley on my all original 239 flatty just wondering if anyone has done this and how it worked out.I was thinking about disk brakes for front end and headers too. I worked on my f 350 diesel for years ,but never anything like this,it's kinda kool. would apprreciate your thoughts.

Hello! Welcome to FTE! Pictures! We love pictures! Disc brakes are a plus, don't know about the carb. But some of our more in the know people will be along shortly!

Welcome. The four barrel may be too much for a stock 239, unless you use a low CFM one. The headers are always a plus. Using the dual bowl master, is always a plus. One thing though, don't waste your money on one that comes with the "proportioning valve," because it's not a proportioning valve, only a differential valve. Disk brakes are always a plus.

You can only get by with about 350CFM Carb on a stock Flatmotor - More than that you will drown it.
Oh Welcome to FTE
Keep it Flat.

Hello, I have installed the duel MC and disk front brakes I have a 3x2 on my flathead. Right now I am intalling the no-limit rack and pinion steering.
