I think that would work just fine. I just picked 4 108'' chains for 60 bucks, and the guy has a bunch. I probably don't need to cut to much off since you can tighten them up quite a bit. Is there anything I need besides the chains? Bungee cords or anything?

If you can get the chains tight enough you won't need bungies. But they are a good idea. Lol.

I'm thinking I'll buy some just in case. How many do you normally use on each side? I suppose about one footers would do.

Well it sounds as if the weather men got my hopes up for nothing. I don't know why I even listen to them anymore.

Yeah that's about right. I sure hope we get something decent out of the deal, but it sounds like we'll probably be missed like usual. That's the only thing I hate about Bismarck, we always get missed.

The snow is packed pritty hard out at my house. I just tried blowing some snow down to the lower lot, and the tractor and blower would float over the 2 ft deep drifts!

Man that sucks! I know its going to be the same for me then. I already had few big drifts across my drive. I'm sure by now they've gotten pretty big. But now I"m prepared! Just bought a snow blower a couple days ago.

Well the hard drifts are from the last big wind. The stuff from today/last night are all powder.
I think going to need chains on the tires to go anywhere this weekend! Lol

Yeah I'm thinking your right. I could only imagine how drifted in most areas are by now. I get off early today so I might drive down to the desert to check it out. I'm sure its a mess. lol
If you think you'll have some time to help me fit them chains let me know. I'm pretty open this weekend.
