i purchased this lightning 2003, the vacaum hose keeps blowing off ,it has a skip and it has gotton were when you get down on the gas it will not go no faster than 80.ive used gas cleaners dont work any one have any ideas

it's been almost three months, he's probably sold the truck or got ripped off at a dealership / garage by now

 

This is why u take the truck ur about to buy to a mechanic before you plan on buying it.

 

I had this problem on my 03 Harley Ed, built with mods.......... turns out i had lots of blow by from having bad valvesprings.... a head job and comp cams springs later, its running great! another thing, the miss could be from bad coil(s), or plugs or just from a little water around the plugs, which is really annoying but a problem on mine occasionally with my aftermarket coils....
