All that hard work paid off............
Ya gotta love the Ford 300 six, all the hard work (and money) paid off and now she's running like a V8. I finished it off just in time to put her away for the winter. People keep asking about the mileage, if I could keep my foot out of it I might be able to produce some decent MPG numbers but at this time I'm still lovin the sound of the dual exhaust.

I have owned the truck about a year and have been working on it on my days off since I brought her home. She sports a new Ford 9" rear end with 3.50 gears, new driveshaft, all new brakes, power disc brake conversion, power steering, new 300 six cylinder engine with new dist and pertronix's ignition, new voltage regulator, fuel pump, water pump, battery, heater core, altinator, new belts, hoses, motor mounts, clutch pack, starter, fly wheel, edelbrock carb, offenhauser intake and flowmaster exhaust, DJM I-Beam lowering kit, new coil springs, shocks, and lot's more. I just work on things until they are done and move onto the next thing.

Naw, I'm in it for the fun, I won't be racing it so i am not much intrested in dynoing. I originally built it because my wife said I should buy a Honda to commute to work in but I thought a classic truck with a 6 banger would suit me much better, plus I can use it as a hobbie and it's much easier and cheaper to work on.
