IT'S SNOWING!!!! Just a light flurry.....just the beginning.....but it is on it's way!!!!!

Well, the storm just went, just like a few ofther things lately have. At least no one can destroy what is happening to me at the present time. Now, in the future, maybe, but not right now.

We have snow......not as much as I would like....but some snow is better than no snow....LIFE IS GOOD....... unfortunately this is a dry snow....not good for packing or building....but it IS snow!!!!!

It is starting to snow here and between now and Weds, I am right on the line for 6-12"/12-20" of snow. However you look at it, it will be at least a foot.

 

It is just beautiful outside. Fired the old beast up, put her in 4WD and went for a cruise up through Banner Hollow. Yep, the 4WD works great. I took that old heavy truck in places that surprised me today. Never a wimper. Brought back a lot of memories past when I was younger.

 

I found this beautiful winter poem and thought it might be a comfort to you.

it has slowed down....measurable out in the wide open middle of the field is just shy of 5 inches....of course, deeper in the drifts which are plenty......

school is already on a two-hour delay.......thinking it will be cancelled by morn~~~

We had a surprise at work today.....lights went out.....computers shut off.....phones went down.....we were disconnected from the outside world in our faux Maryland offices.....

power company said 3 - 4 hours AT LEAST.....that was at 11:47am.....12:30pm they sent us all home....WITH PAY!!! Spent the day with the kiddos.....MUCH NEEDED TIME TOGETHER!!!!!
