Lokar Loco

I spent a couple hours looking at parts and matching the installation instructions on the C6 Lokar shifter. I think the best approach is just toss the instructions and install it like it looks like it should go. What kind of idiots write their installation stuff? Anybody install the Lokar per the instructions without any trouble?

I had the same problem installing a lokar on my C4. I gave up on the instructions and did it the way I thought it should be (used the provided rod and end bits to attach the lever on the tranny to lever on shifter). Worked great!

For what they cost, you think Lokar would at least give you an original xerox copy of a photo and not a copy of a copy of a copy.

The only people with worse instructions I have found are the ones who make the add on P/S to the stock front axle on a 53-56 pickup, and anything from any company who supplies dropped spindles.

I guess they figure they know where it goes, why shouldn't you?
