power drain on 91 f250 4x4

The first thing I would do is look at what my accessories are doing in the system. I would take a multimeter to my fuse panel and see which circuits are live that shouldn't be. There is obviously something large (at least charge-draw-wise) pulling juice out when the key is in the Off position. I have a cigar lighter power point in my wife's 4runner that does it's own thing like that. If I leave anything plugged in it will completely drain out the battery.

You know, I just thought of it, and I may be way off here, but if you had a bad short somewhere could that be draining your batt? (i.e. a wire passing through a sharp hole in the body where the insulation has been rubbed away and the wire is making solid contact with the body? What other kinds of ghosts do you have in your electrical system and what kinds of aftermarket electrical add-ons do you have?

Usually the only thing on a stock truck that will drain the battery that fast is the voltage regulator in the alternator is stuck. I know you say you already replaced the alternator, but what I would do is unplug the alternator overnight and see if your battery is still dead in the morning or not. Rebuilt alternators are famous for being bad right out of the box. This goes for rebuilt starters, too.
