have removed the 468 BBC from the truck,(Asphalt Assassin-2009 F100 Supernationals Knoxville Tn. 1961-1966 Truck Of The Year) removed front end sheet metal all in one piece,cut out crossmember and now just have two bare frame rails from the firewall forward,am ready to start boxing the framerails starting about 6'' behind the firewall extending out to bottom of core support.i have purchased a Fatman front end for the truck,DJM dropped beams have been removed,sincerely hope that the truck will ride and handle better when i am done.will be posting pics in the next few days of some of the work already performed,and will continue to post as progress is made.here is a link to view the truck (Custom Classic Trucks Feature Article) before i started the tear down to install the Fatman frontend,.......Flaming River Steering Column & Auto Meter Gauges - Custom Classic Trucks

Are you replacing the bbc as well lol? Very very nice truck either way. How did you get Aerospace brakes to work up front with the beams?

Have you thought about the CV swap?

About 1/3 of the 03 and later CV's have aluminium A-arms which can be polished.

I am thinking about doing that for my own CV swap.

 

pretty tough to sit here and drool and wish i had a better paying job. beautiful truck.

 

spindles are from 77 f100,sent aerospace one spindle and had front brakes for my app in about 3 weeks
