Scored some king ranch 18's today. What tire size?
Well I scored some king ranch factory 18"wheels today what size tire are you guys running? I'm more looking at width than height. I don't want to go much taller than a 33. I know I can clear a 35. These will be going on my f350. Thinking either a 295/70/18 pr another set of 325/60/18 which I've run before. But they're pretty wide tire.

The 325/60/18 should only be 33.36 tall per discount tires conversion calculator. I'm more concerned about it being too wide for the rim, than too tall for my truck. Only reason I'm shying away from the 35 is concern for impact on fuel mileage and increase in height for getting through the car wash.

I ran 35's on my Dodge 2500 - never again. Don't forget to add to your list annoying road noise, premature ball joint, drag link, and tie rod wear, and reduced braking performance with the increased rolling mass of the 35s. They do look rugged and cool, but the negatives far outweighed the benefits from my personal experience. I won't ever run 35's on a vehicle that's primary purpose is highway use again. If your off-roading a lot, they have many benefits.
I'm not ruling out 35's. Just probably shying away from them. Our excursion has 35's with no drive ability issues. But fuel mileage is considerably less. I'm sure it's not all related to the 35's.
