Have you considered shortening the front of the bed and extending the cab. I'm long legged so a little extra cab could be good. Just a thought

i would love to extend the cab too but i dont have the skills to extend the cab

I think you would want to do all the shortening in the front of the box. The rear fenders are too close to the end to shorten any there. Then you could remove the same amount of frame that you removed from the bed to keep the proportions right. I think it might look good if you don't go with more than 6-8 inches...

Brian's 48 is starting off with a positive reputation.
I did 6" because I liked the proportions. I took a side view picture, an architect's scale and played with lengths until I found the length I liked. You will also have to shorten your running boards, I used the plain glass ones so I wouldn't have to deal with the ribs.
