I seemed to have misplaced my manual; could soome one please scan the page(s) that shows how to install the window glass & vent window and post or PM to me thanks. I'm installing glass runners, division, & glass I forgot how to install the glass take off division bar & window mechanism?

 

If you don't get one from the 55 guys let me know and I'll scan the 51 photo's. I can't imagine they are that different.

The reason I didn't PM the diagram is because I thought some one else could use the information. Searching the site can bring up a lot of information and in the future someone may need it.

 

Thanks Bob that the picture I wanted; another question is there an order that I should put everything back together. I have the glass runner vent window & division bar in and the glass will not slide up into the door without hitting the division bar bottom. I haven't had the windows out since I put them in about 19 years ago.

THANK YOU very much Bobj. I can use this in the near future and am getting quite a collection of these different exploded views. I didn't buy a manual for this 53 because it is so modified that the manual would be of little value but I do plan on getting one for the 51. I plan on keeping it as stock as possible.

 

Having this stuff in the threads can be very helpful for folks looking for info. I had a steering column question and found the answer in a search, but I added some pictures and a question or two to ease my mind and help someone in the future that might have the same question. Pictures make things so much easier to understand.

I would also recommend that everyone get an LMC truck catalog. They are free and the diagrams can answer a lot of questions. I use mine all the time for reference.
