Thanks for clarifying the dimensions. Was wondering why Ford opted to go the route they did. Knowing that capacity is an issue for people who haul trailers, I often wonder they didn't opt for a two tank solution like they did in my 86. Until I get my truck, I guess I won't know how crowded it is under there.

It's there in plain sight what the vehicle holds whether it is a 6'+ bed or an 8' er.

Yeah a lot of people are misreading that chart in the link you posted. You have to read the seating capacity and fuel capacity lines seperatly and not relate cab size to tank size. You would think they would change this by adding a line in between there with all the confusion but guess not!!!
