Went to a Junk Yard Today

Today was a good day.

Wife went black friday shopping with my mother and siblings. My dad and I worked on the truck. It was threatening to rain, but we managed to get the tail lights plugged back up (we'd had them off working on the bed), change some fluids, and worked on figuring out the rear shocks. While trying to figure out the rear shock mounting we went to a local Ford junkyard. They had a few trucks amid the Mustangs and Galaxies. It was fun rooting around between the trees.

It was a good day. Didn't make much progress but we had fun doing it.

Enjoy those days with Dad, the memories make it easier when he's not around any more.
