New truck questions

I will be replacing my 2007 F-350 for a 2011 F-350 soon and I have some questions about things I like about my truck and wondering if they carried over to the new one.

1) I see on Fumoto's website they say there is not an oil drain valve available for the 2011....will there be?

2) Is the oil filter still mounted on the top of the engine for hassle-less oil changes?

3) I have a knurled plug that I use on the water fuel separator so I don't need to use any tools, I just turn off with my fingers. I can't remember where I got it from, does anybody have one of these?

4) I want to put the 3 bulb light bar under the tailgate like what is on the duallys. When I look for this at OEM websites, all I can find are for trucks up to a 2010. Is the bed the same on the 2010 to 2011 so the one for the 2010 will work?

Thanks!

Here are some answers for you:

1) I see on Fumoto's website they say there is not an oil drain valve available for the 2011....will there be? Probably not, the new truck has a real sweet quarter turn drain valve standard

2) Is the oil filter still mounted on the top of the engine for hassle-less oil changes? No, it uses a canister type filter under the truck. I had a 6.0 with the underhood filter and I would take the new trucks filter setup any day

3) I have a knurled plug that I use on the water fuel separator so I don't need to use any tools, I just turn off with my fingers. I can't remember where I got it from, does anybody have one of these? EZ drain on new type of fuel separator.

4) I want to put the 3 bulb light bar under the tailgate like what is on the duallys. When I look for this at OEM websites, all I can find are for trucks up to a 2010. Is the bed the same on the 2010 to 2011 so the one for the 2010 will work? I would say yes

Regards

I heartily agree with all of Ricatic's answers. The 6.7 is a totally different animal and there is no need for nor will any quick drain items from a 6.0 work on this engine/truck.
