looking for '61 to '66 panel truck (any ever built?)

I know of some '58 & '59 1/2 ton panel trucks.
Did Ford drop them around '60 to force the Econoline line to sell?

Much obliged,

There are no factory f100 panel trucks after the 60 model year.

There was one conversion build happening a few years back, stalled mid build and was sold on E Bay. What happened after that?

Actaully, I'm pondering using the chassis from my '63 F100 4X4 short/narrow box and using the cab & body from my '65 F100 long wide box and building a panel truck as my working shop truck.

Is that loco????

Nope not loco. But the cab and frame will require mods. Use a 60 OR 70S ford wagon roof and pillars. Add in some suburban hinges and custom rear barn doors and it would be gin!

I have always kicked around the idea of a taking a long bed uni and adding a set of rear doors to it, move the rear axle back about a foot and relocate the wheel opening and adding a roof. it would be about the baddest suburban beater ever.....

Mike i did not buy it.

But i do have some stuff in the wings for a 106 inch wheel base 3/4 ton 1965 Pre Production full size Ford Bronco.

Wish I could photoshop. I always wanted to see what a 49/50 ford Ranchero looked like made from a two door Ranch Wagon. A future project.

I think that would look good with a white stripe where the bed cap was continuing to the back of the truck.
