Hi, I for sometime have been wanting to make and run primarily only bio diesel (for winters I'll mix in the dino). I am to busy to make it constantly so would probably purchase a bio-pro machine. I already figure with my usage and bios is a little less mpg it'll still pay itself off in a year +/-a month or two. Before all this though I want to rebuild my motor from top to bottom. The truck will be overhauled next winter. It's a 2000 F450 7.3 with over 200,000 miles. I know thats not bad but I will be building a custom dump body for it, and I want this truck to be 100% reliable once I sell my old dump and this will be my only truck for work/DD.

Any input is welcome.

What I plan on is once I add the new body, paint the frame, (maybe switching axles to 06-07 F550s) etc the motor will be rebuilt. As far a bio I will have a nice clean tank for it, but mainly want ot get info on tuning it. I know a truck can run form dino to bio but with some tuning it'll run even better, specially with new motor. Could any diesel tune shop do the tuning? From whom I've asked yes but want ot know if anyone has.

 

No mods are necessary for your engine. You MAY advance the timing 1-2 deg for slightly better performance, and less Nox in the exhaust
