'02 F350 - head gasket issue(s)?

That's a bunch, but not too bad. I think I was told that Ford gave 3 years and unlimited miles on the transmissions. I was informed that they require an inspection before the warrantee is validated. I would also check with the Ford Parts department, just to not get a nasty surprize in the event of a failure.

Mech wasn't entirely sure on the specifics of the warranty. I called the local dealer to ask them but the guy who "knows all about this stuff" was gone for the day. Too late to call Ford directly so I'll get it figured out in the morning.
Turns out there wasn't a leak. Crawled under the truck and everything was bone dry. Put about 10 more miles on it running around and lunch and everything was dry at each stop. Thinking now it was just condensation from the cool temps overnight.

So far so good... No drips or anything.. had to top off the coolant (*MAYBE* a pint) but looks good otherwise...
Mileage is down about 1.5mpg, but I'm gonna chalk that up to break-in and the ECU "relearning" a bit. Planning on an oil change at 1k and I'll stick with Mobil 1 again since the inside of the old engine was very very clean.

No leaks... It's been sitting for the past 10 days as I was back East for the holidays.. Started right up this morning.. Still haven't topped 50 miles, but now that I'm back and kids start school Monday, that 1st 1000 miles should go pretty quick.

Necro thread revival! I'd forgotten all about this one...
About 43k on the engine at this point and all I've had to do is change oil and put gas in the truck. Did a 1400 mile round trip tow from SoCal to NorCal about a year ago. Truck pulled the grapevine like a locomotive both ways.
About a week from making that same trip again and I don't anticipate any issues.
