My brother drives an '02 dually 4x4 and it sits noticeably lower than my truck, probably 2-3 inches. They are both stock. I think duallies are built with shorter springs, not sure.

Ger,

Ive been tossing around the thoguth of trading/selling my 06 for a new(er) dually or doing a dually conversion on my current truck.

The link you posted looks like a good option but me being over ****, I worry about the stress that towing 13k, and the added weight of 2 extra wheels would do to the adapters as opposed to finding a good used Dually rear end, and putting the hubs on from FORD.

Miles,

I dont think I can afford a new 1 with the 6.7, and I dont want a 6.4, just dont like them that much, and to pull the mileage out of it I would have to do everything Ive already done to mine.

But if your serious everything is for sale LOL. If I could do some research on the link Ger sent me that is robly the way Im gonna go, but then again I may look for a nice low mileage dually rear end with a 4.10 or 4.30 in it and do a gear swap up front, add the hubs buy some wheels and tires and drive the 06 til the doors fall off it.

Picked up some #411 for a patio project today, got a little over a 1.5 ton. And the ole boy just smiled.

You'll hear it with the tunes in it. They cackle more.

Thanks.

I definitely need to take the TonnoPro off when I haul wood; you can't get much under there. I ran out of ambition before I ran out of room.
