Frame paint/coating...What would y'all recommend?

That Rust Bullet looks pretty good. It's not just a "paint over rust" type of product. It is also used for bare metal. I might have to give that a go. I've seen it before, but assumed it was another POR. Glad I looked a little further into it. Thanks for bringing it up.

To answer the questions, I want it to look good and be durable. Thanks for the input...It looks like there are two basic ways to go, either an etching epoxy primer and and them paint, or, POR-15 and their compatible top coat.
Does anyone that has done either of these two methods have any regrets or problems with them long term?

Looking to have my frame done for my 56 project in February 2013. This will be a slow slow build so frame will sit outside under a tarp. Can you touch up POR 15 or can you drill and make continued mods to the frame after you coat with POR 15 or is it a done deal once you coat it with POR15?

I sand plasted my frame. But do to time I could only get so much done at one time. The front was done first and it was going to be awhile till I got to the rest.So I epoxy primed the new crossmenber and the area around it.When I finished sand blasting the rest I used Por 15 over everthing. The only proplem I have had it that the area where the epoxy is will chip easy because of the thickness of the 2 products.Other then that no peeling or rust bleeding though anywhere. So I kind of got both products with good results.
