ohhh dats nice. i want another b2 that i can just hack up and put a big hellacious motor in.

 

Bart M, it looks to me that you shaved your drip rails on your BII, am I right. How did you close that gap that was left after cutting off the rail? I am shaving mine because of the rust that accumulated in the corners of them. After cutting off the drivers side and welding the seam together I had a gap between the door frame and the roof. I tried something to close it up but it looks bad and want to try something different on the passenger side. This is going to be aobut the extent of my custom work though.

 

Well i havein got my truck don't yet but when i do i'll put them on here. Both truck's are cool i am goin to have a 87 Bronco 11 lifted 6in 4.o 5sp. . so when i am don't i'll take some pic's.

 

yeah, if i understood that right, i had the same prob. you have to take some metal and break(bend) it so that is goes in the jamb and rolls out over the roof skin. its hard but it looks good. of course after your through weldin you have to doh so that pretty much closes up the gap nicely. i also radiused the doors and smoothed the jambs while i was at it.

It is a blast! Moab, in my opinion, is worth the drive from anywhere in the US... Shoot, now everyone will know about it. Watch the first part of Austin Powers Goldmember and that's Moab... (the part with Rob Lowe in it) Literally hundreds of miles to explore... Just brings LOTS of water good spare and plan to air down to around 15psi when you get into town. There are more Jeeps there than anywhere in the world and a bunch of them have bead locks and some of those guys air down to 0-5 psi... Eddie McStiffs for beer and pizza after a day on one of the trails and you'll never want to leave

Where did you get the front bumper and cowl hood? Did you manufacture the hood yourself? I'm not much for low rides, but it looks great!
