how hard to swap 460 to351w

i have 2 89 f250 both 5sp 4wd one is 351w(bad rod(s))good body.the other is a 460 runs good has a bad rearend.and looks like it had a rough life. in the wyoming oil feilds.i want to put 460 in where the 351w is.will the bellhousing fit. what about the ecm. and fuel system,wiring.or shoud i turn the crank on the 351.main and rod bearing,new timing chain.call it good.what i want to use the truck to haul firewood.total mileage per year less than 1500 miles a year.

The bellhousings are different and the PCMs have a different tune for each engine. The fuel system is pretty much the same. Same for the wiring. Some of the wire lengths maybe different between the two.

You have two complete donor trucks of the same vintage.
It shouldn't be too hard to make it work.
I'll admit I know little about the fuel injection systems
You will need the engine/tranny, engine harness, computer, engine perches, entire exhaust system, radiator & maybe the radiator support of the 460.

You might need an offset universal joint depending on the output yoke of the transmission(s).

well thanks for the help.but I think Iwill fix the 351w .what ever that takes.
