Darn it!!!! New fuel pump installed, still no fuel pressure! Pump is not running. Swapped relays nothing. Have power at red and yellow wires, shuold have power at grn/yellow with key on but don't. Should I try hot wiring the pump? Or just buy a new relay and try that.

Have you checked the inertial switch for continuity? Even if it hasn't tripped a weak electrical connection can either inhibit pump operation or fry the electrical contacts in the connector(s) or the switch itself.

Get the whole unit from Ford, not just the pump motor part. There's a valve in the body that goes bad and can't be replaced without breaking the body.

I checked the "valve" it worked fine after cleaning the sand and debris out of the housing. Fuel pump is now working, also had to replace vent grommet, and sending unit o-ring as they were damaged by a previous atempt by previous mechanic.
Major problem seems to be the relay, put another relay from running vehicle and it started and ran. Shut it off when it warmed up, then it wouldn't stat again, removed relay from socket, put it back and evetything fine for several starts now:s

Consider replacing the relay socket or at the very least cleaning the electrical contacts in it with electrical parts cleaner. Make certain ALL of the contacts make a good solid connection to the terminals on the relay.

OK had a chance to talk to an old friend who is a mechanic. Found something to share with the FTE crowd!
It seems that aftermarket EVP sensors are often to long. Error code 34 was solved for me by grinding off the needle that rides on top of the EGR valve. I carefully ground it until the sensor rested on the gasket without having to push it down.
Now to find and fix error code 18... Wish me luck!

I would imagine... how long did you drive it after clearing codes? It usually takes a good half hour to 45 minutes at varying speeds (City & Highway) for the ECM to fully relearn timing an shift parameters.

Just an update if you were following this thread. Error code 52 is now fixed! It seems that 91 e4od didn't use a pressure switch for the power steering, so there was no wire from ECM to the engine harness. Took the wire from an extra/donor harness and ran it to the missing connection, problem solved!
