I stopped by the nearest Ford dealer today, and found "my" truck! It was an "XL" model with none of the extra stuff that I don't need. It was forest green, extended cab, 8' bed, gray cloth interior, rubber floors, manual transfer case, manual locks, manual windows. When something breaks, it's a quick easy fix. 3.73 electronic locking rear, which is fine for me as I won't be towing all that often. 6.2L, auto. And I can actually see the ground from inside the engine compartment! It's a miracle! The only things that would have to change are the wheels/tires, and manual lockout hubs for the front. Somebody forgot to lock the passenger door on it, so I got to hop up in and open the hood and check it out. Too bad it ain't gonna happen! HA!

MSRP about $34,500
You probably could buy it for $27,500 if you really tried hard

Here is my F250 SC XLT 6.2. Traded off my 08 CC 6.4 for this plain jane gasser.
Did not even come with fog lights had to order those from Ed the parts guy's team. Easy install took about an hour start to finish. Next upgrade is the 2011 factory remote start from Ed.

when you installed the fog lights did you also have to install a new switch to turn them on/off or did it work with the one already there?

Fog light kit

Yes the kit from the parts guy came with the wiring harness under the radiator saddle to each fog light, the lights and bezel's along with the new headlight switch. And the factory harness has a connection ready to hook to under the saddle. Very easy. I got kits from Ed for my 05 and 08 and they were also complete with switch and they were plug and play also.

looking on his website it only lists the fog lamp assembly in separate parts. Is there a way to order it as a kit?

just so we are on the same page..

www.partsguyed.com

I click front lamps then fog lamps and it directs me to 3 sub categories which are the 3 separate parts. Still dont see anything about a kit anywhere. And just wondering, how much did it cost you in the end?
